Concerning Reward & Punishment
Why did God promise his covenant with Abraham and not Melchizedek, or another God-believer? And Melchizedek was greater than Abraham, because he blessed Abraham. (Gn 12:1-3, Heb 7:1, 6)
Jdgs 13:3 How come Samson's birth had the ultimate honor of being announced by the angel of the LORD? Even Jesus' birth was only announced by Gabriel.
Why did God kill off Jonathan, though he was righteous and loved the Lord and was valiant for him? Not only that, but he died a humiliating death and his corpse was disgraced. (I Sm 20:14-15, 14:1-30,37-45, 18:1-4, 19:1-7, ch 20, 31:8-12)
Why did God say he took away his steadfast love from Saul, but that he wouldn’t take it from Solomon, though in my eyes, Solomon was the more wicked (that is, until Saul became overcome by jealousy of David, but that was after God had already rejected him)? (I Chr 17:13)
David loved God more than Solomon did, so why did God bless Solomon more than David?
Why did God choose Judah and the tribe of Judah to be the tribe of the Promised One? Why not Joseph? It's so unfair.

God promised punishment for disobedience, but we see that that's not true, since Israel (Samaria) had at least one period of prosperity, but it didn't have a single good king, but only evil kings. (p 1655 of ESV Study Bible, last full paragraph). Or why did he bless Israel (Samaria) by giving them back their territory during the reign of Jehoash? (p 1683 of same, 2nd to the last paragraph)
Why should God be kind to the ungrateful and wicked? (Lk 6:35) Isn’t this why people think there’s no justice and no sense to anything? (Eccl 8:11, Rom 2:4-5, II Pt 3:9, Sir 12:1-5) If he's kind to the ungrateful and evil, what makes him decide to finally punish?
Why wasn't Aaron put to death along with the 3,000? (Ex 32:25, 28)
Why did God keep his people in bondage for 400 years in Egypt, when they had been nothing but a blessing to them (the Egyptians)? How is this fair? They didn’t deserve slavery. (Ex 12:40-41)
How is God fair in choosing a certain man to be born blind, that the works of God may be shown? (Jn 9:1-3)
What does it mean “Yet for your sake we are killed all the day long”? Why would God punish his people if they didn’t deserve it? (Ps 44:9-23)
Why did God allow accidental manslaughter to be avenged? (Nm 35:26-28)
