The Afterlife
Why wouldn’t David be able to praise the Lord in his death, if he would be in heaven with him? It’s like he’s stuck in Sheol and that’s it. (Ps 30:9)
Why can't we talk with the dead? Why are they wholly separated from us?
Why can there be no repentance after death? What about death makes it the deadline?
Questions about NDE's:
1)Can NDE's be partially naturalistically explained?
2)Has there ever been a case of a trivial NDE, or one that had nothing to do with heaven or hell?
3)Has there ever been a case of an NDE in which third parties confirmed that the person had indeed had an OBE, but then this same person went on to have a trivial NDE?
4)Why do not all people who have been near death had NDE's?
5)Why does it appear that whether a person has a positive or negative NDE has nothing to do with that person's religious beliefs or their morals?
6)Why do so many NDE's have physical elements (for example, seeing dead friends and relatives as they appeared on earth)?
7)Why are many NDE's quite different from each other (for example, a white vs a black void [in a negative NDE])? Does everyone have their own particular afterlife? If so, why?
8)Related to question 6, it appears that people who have had an NDE retain the same limitations in their thinking and beliefs as they did on earth. For example, they may interpret what's going on in a culturally-determined way, or according to what might be expected of their age, sex, station in life, etc. But if they've really become part of the spiritual realm, why would they retain their earthly limitations and biases? Shouldn't they instead gain a sort of clarity of thought, attain to universal truth?
