What was meant when Daniel was told to shut up the book of prophecies? If it was shut up, why are we reading it today? (Dn 12:4)
Why did Jesus choose to write to those particular seven churches? Were they important or was it just random? (Rv 1:11)
Why did the Jews stop pagan worship? In fact, they have held on tenaciously to their religion, often to their own hurt and disadvantage (as when the Romans tried to take over their country during intertestamental times).
After the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, the apostles finally moved out as missionaries. So how come Paul was the only one successful at permanently Christianizing the pagans over a widespread area (Europe), and he was the main writer of the NT epistles to gentiles. Even though the gospel reached even India and Ethiopia, the churches there remained small and among themselves. The gospel raced through Europe and on to its outposts in North and South America.
