Jewish Beliefs as Relates to Christianity

“Who are you?” 20 He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.” 21 And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” 22 So they said to him, “Who are you? We need to give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?” (Jn 1:19-22)
Mt 26:63 Why here did Caiaphas say "Son of God" instead of "Son of Man"? If the Jews believed that the Christ was the Son of God (therefore making him equal with God [Jn 5:18]), why then do they not believe God to be a trinity?
What did the disciples mean by Jesus coming, for they did not even believe that he would be crucified and ascend into heaven, and why did they associate this and the destruction of Jerusalem with the close of the age? (Mt 24:3, Lk 24:44-47)
Why did some of the bystanders think that Jesus was calling out to Elijah? (Mt 27:46-47) What’s up with everyone wanting to see if Elijah would come down? (Mt 27:47-49, Mk 15:35-36)
Why didn't "God-fearers" (Gentile believers in the Jewish God) become proselytes (that is, full converts, in the sense that they had undergone Jewish conversion rites, such as circumcision). What was stopping them from being fully converted, and what did the Jews think of this? (Acts 8:27, 10:2 & ESV Study Bible notes)
