Manipulation of Free Will (to the Person's Damnation) (see also Fate & Free Will)
Verse Observations: Is 29:10, Jb 9:24
Isn’t it weird (and wrong) of God to ask pharaoh “How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me” when he’s the one who hardened pharaoh’s heart? (Ex 10:3, 1)
Why did God want Hophni and Phinehas dead so that he made it so that they wouldn’t listen to their father? (I Sm 2:25)
What does it mean “He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants”? (Ps 105:31) Was God controlling people’s minds? (Ps 105:25)
Can God control what people think, as when Absalom’s supporters thought Hushai’s advice was better than Ahithophel’s, when Ahithophel really had the better advice? (II Sm 17:14)
How could God just take over people with his spirit, especially when these people had murderous intentions? (I Sm 19:19-24)
